Price Confirmed for Lucidity!
For those who’ve been debating what the price ought to be (I’ve seen many of you on Twitter!), you’ll be happy to know Lucidity won’t be the few million dollars that one person exclaimed they would be willing to pay. While selling one $3,000,000 game would mean we could just call it a day and go home, we’d rather everyone else gets a shot at it.
That’s why we’re happy to announce that on Direct2Drive and Steam, our PC friends can pick up Lucidity for $10! Okay, $9.99 for those who will be correcting me in the comments. On the XBLA side of things you’ll be able to grab it for 800 MS Points. It should be an easy purchase at that price, given the art and music alone, but for the rest, it’s a ton of gameplay, as Shara has been discussing since Friday.

I want. Now. Please?
Great, will pick this up when it’s out!
Will there be a hardcopy available, or is it only for digital download?
Only Digital at this point.
Wow! For that price, I would get it even if I weren’t interested.
why is this not coming out on PSN? is it just a phased release thing or are there no current plans for a PSN release?
I’d like a real answer, please. Thanks 🙂
Currently no plans for a PSN release. If it is wildly successful, however, I can’t speak for the future 🙂
shame 😦
$9.99? Wow!
$9,99 is a great price. I just hope that the price in Europe will be closer to the actual equivalent which is €6,99, not €9,99.
cant decide whether to get it on pc or xbox. i think achievements will swing this vote unless anyone else can pusuade me
Achievements on both. Sorry – it won’t help your decision 🙂
Well, I would buy this, but I hate Xbox Live DRM (Grave warning to everyone), how Secret of Monkey Island SE was compressed on XBLA, and I don’t think my PC could run Lucitidy. Waiting for PSN or WiiWare edition, or better yet, a physical copy (PLEASE NO DRM, I DON’T PIRATE GAMES!!!).
The game looks fantastic both on style and gameplay. We’re (RYG) curious on whether Lucidity also be released on the site proper (LucasArts) and, if so, what DRM would you be using.
A Collector Edition please!
With an artbook arranged to look like a children picture book! Or perhaps package the game with a fake hardcover picture book!
Still not picked this up, and with a load of MS points sat doing nothing, think it may be time to fit it in before the Xmas games rush arrives.
