Listen to Lucidity’s Lively Laborers!

October 6, 2009

I always adore  alliteration, at least when I am able. And naturally, the day before Lucidity is unleashed onto the the public we’ve got a fantastic post for everyone – the Lucidity Podcasts are ready for your ears! Over the last week or so we’ve been getting together with the dev team, going over some of your questions, as well as talking about fun stories from the development of the game.

The goal was to touch every part of the Lucidity team, and every profession involved. We know people reading out there are artists, engineers, designers, writers, musicians and more. We know you want to know the backstory – especially involving your own profession. With any luck we did that. Be sure to download them by right clicking below, but feel free to listen to them here as well!

Awesome! Great job. You guys should create a regular podcast and add it to Zune/iTunes.

What about Lucidity’s producers? I bet they have some super cool stuff to say that people like me would be totally interested in. Just a thought.

This is really awesome. My girlfriend is a very good artist. And she really wants to do concept art or art for like posters of upcoming movies. So she is really going to love hearing the art section of this. Thanks so much for doing this! I’ll be waiting up all night to download this! OMG!

Does anyone know the name of the girl who performs the Intro Theme?
I think it’s Sara Assbring, judging from the voice alone, but I’m really not sure, and no reliable infromation source has any information on this.

Jesse actually wrote a post on that intro – https://lucasartsworkshop.wordpress.com/2009/09/22/say-what/

It’s worth a read, and the singer is given quite a bit of praise 🙂

This is a terrific podcast-offers insight from those that have touched every aspect of it’s creation. Well done and good marketing tool. Struck by how unified the team is – culture seems supportive, innovative and fun.
